Computer Technician
 

I am looking for an individual or individuals who have a natural ability to troubleshoot and fix computers.  It has been my experience that the best computer repair techs are self taught.  Schooling doesn't hurt, but there is something about natural talent.

1.  Must be a people person.  This business is built on having a relationship with our customers.

2.  Must be able to work on all kinds of operating systems.  Dos, Windows 3.11, Windows 95, 98, ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7. There is no computer turned away because of age.

3.  Linux and Apples are a plus, but not necessary.

4.  Laptop repair as well as Desktop repair is mandatory.

5.  Must have the ability to repair computers vs. reloading them.  Anybody can reload a computer, but this business is based on fixing them.  Our customers are homeowners that may or may not know how to set up their computer.  They will expect it to work just as it did before they brought it in.  However, sometimes you must reload, but this should be the exception.

6.  Must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive to location for computer repair.  We provide onsite/in home repair and you may be expected to go on the service call.

7.  Pay will be discussed at the time of interview.  Pay will be based on the level of personal and/or professional experience.
